CHIARA’s COVERS are a set of ellipsoids of Murano crystal glass, exclusively made by Master Simone Cenedese and inspired by the natural elements used to produce blown glass: Water, Fire and Air. CHIARA’s COVERS can be bought to “dress” the CHIARA lamp by giving it unexpected shape, color, play of light and reflections. They can also be used as a decorative object. FIRE is inspired by the fire’s heat used to give shape to the glass. To give FIRE its characterizing bubbling texture, air is blown into the glass during the manufacturing process. Glass color: Amber AQUA is inspired by the water that shapes the glass. AQUA is modelled using a traditional technique, whereby the glass is blown by mouth and shaped using long metallic sticks. Depending on the movements of the metallic sticks in the process, shapes can vary. Glass color: Smoky AIR is inspired by the air used to blow the glass. AIR is characterized by rays opening out from a central point at the top. Both color and shape recall the purity and calm of this element. Glass color: Transparent. This product is made to order.
